Stonefield Slate on Portland Stone Base
Recently delivered to the Brian Sinfield Gallery, Burford, Oxfordshire - my new Resonance style work uses the local stone.
This work is inspired by my love of the Drystone walls in this area and incorporating the pattern of the topping stone or coping stones.
Stonefield Slate is a local Oxfordshire stone and used to roof many beautiful Cotswold homes. Two hundred year old roof tiles have now become material of choice for making these sculptures.
